Description

Where There’s A Bear, There’s Trouble! is an original work written for Triton Brass in 2003 by our dearly departed friend, Marco Flores. It is based on a children’s book of the same name written by Michael Catchpool and was featured on Triton’s mid-west tour for the Fischoff National Chamber Music Association. Having won second prize at the competition, Triton commissioned this work through partnerships with Fischoff to bring free, innovative Arts-in-Education programs directly to children in their own schools and community centers throughout the mid-west.

Each member of the group is a different character, both musically and cosmetically…yes, this one works best with dress up! The bear is of course the tubist and the bee the piccolo trumpet. Still, all the players get involved reading lines and generally acting a fool. The little buggers love it!
