Steve definitely has a thing for the music of Rameau, and it’s worked out pretty well for the Triton Brass. This piece is so gorgeous and features the horn right at the tippy top of the tune. Tendre Amour is a brass quintet adaptation of the aria from Act Three of Rameau’s opera-ballet Les Indes Galantes which premiered in Paris, 1735. Lush & romantic, this work is pretty badass and will balance out your program nicely.
